Flag Day Ceremony

American Legion Lynnfield Post 131 members at their annual Flag Day Ceremony on June 14th. Post members l - r: John Harrigan (Navy), Jim McAdam (Army), Lynnfield's own Chuck Leach (Marines), Allen Lieb (Navy), Joe Turcketta (Army), Tom Bogart (Navy), Bruce Siegel (Navy), Lynnfield's own Paul Donato (Army), and Jack Lukas (Army). 
Post 131 properly disposed of hundreds of flags collected since last year. Post 131 wishes to thank all Lynnfield residents who deposited their unserviceable flags in the collection boxes located around town. We also wish to thank the residents of all ages who came out for the ceremony, the Lynnfield Fire Dept. for ensuring everyone and everything remained safe, and The Savings Bank for providing funding for the refreshments enjoyed by all after the ceremony.
